You will feel comfortable in our alpine hut. Especially in our guest room, from which you can look out over the entire valley. Our cabin rooms are equipped with furniture made from local wood. One bedroom is even made of stone pine. The pleasant wooden scent ensures a peaceful and restful sleep. After an impressive hike, you can relax your muscles in the Finnish sauna.

The place in front of the hut invites you to relax. And a fireplace made of natural stones and a grill provide a romantic atmosphere. You will receive a delicious platter of home-made specialties for FREE if you stay at least 5 nights.

There is also a dairy in our alpine hut. Grandpa Hans also lives in the hut in July and August and our guests can thus experience alpine life up close. We produce milk and cheese products from our alpine milk (hay milk), for which we have already received 7 gold medals.

Advantage: Grandpa Hans also heats the hut (July & August) and ensures that the electricity on the hut works. You are welcome to accompany him on the way to the alpine pastures to our cows. Our grandpa knows a lot about the landscape, the alpine life and in the truest sense of the word "ambassador of the rural world". From the beginning of September the hut belongs to you alone!

Location: In a wide valley basin on the Katschberg in the Lieser-Maltatal near three other alpine huts. Here you have a view over the whole valley.

Access: 5 km from Rennweg, gravel road
