Ramsau am Dachstein in Styria with its ‘three levels’ (the plateau, the Alpine pastures and the Dachstein glacier mountains), is a popular holiday destination, in summer as well as in winter, which leaves nothing to be desired - particularly for cross-country and Alpine skiers, hikers, climbers and mountain bikers. Our Hotel Lindenhof is an ideal starting point for all these activities. In winter, the 220 km network of cross-country trails can be accessed right at the hotel, in summer the many benches along the walking paths invite you to rest and enjoy the countryside during a nice walk.

The Hotel Lindenhof offers hotel rooms, family rooms, suites and holiday flats. To ensure a relaxing holiday, we have furnished the rooms generously and elegantly, with attention to detail, and with all mod cons. Solid wood furniture and high quality health mattresses contribute to a good night’s sleep and a great start into an adventurous day. All rooms have a cosy sitting area as well as a balcony or a terrace with a lovely view to Ramsau am Dachstein.

Fortify yourself at the large breakfast buffet we offer in our homely and elegant guest lounge in the morning, with produce from our farm as well as from other trusted local farms. In the evening, we offer a set menu in the restaurant and we invite you to indulge yourself in the caringly prepared culinary delights. By request, we are happy to arrange for particular set menus according to your diet plan. Let the day end in a cosy atmosphere enjoying Austrian delicacies or tasty international dishes. The creatively prepared salad bar and dessert buffet complete the culinary offer at the Hotel Lindenhof.

After an extensive hike or a demanding ski tour, you are welcome to give your body and soul a treat and relax at the 4-star Hotel Lindenhof. Our “Well-being Oasis”, designed with attention to detail and with a stylish ambience, features a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam bath, an infrared warm-up cabin, a bio sauna and a relaxation room. In summer, there is a direct exit to the natural swimming pool, offering a welcome cool-down on a hot day. Or simply put your feet up and have a rest on our lawn for sunbathing. We are happy to serve coffee and homemade cakes as well as all kinds of refreshments to the sun terrace. The indoor pool that is available to our guests free of charge is only 100 m away.

The landlord of the hotel is actually working with the film team of the popular German TV show “Die Bergretter” (The Mountain Rescuers) as an Alpine expert. Being a “Bergretter Fan Hotel”, we are pleased to offer the possibility to book our in-house mountain guide with whom you can set out on hikes and guided via ferrata tours in all levels of difficulty. Ramsau am Dachstein is internationally renowned for its 18 via ferratas - two of which are children’s climbing paths – where you also have the option to acquire a “Via ferrata licence”.

For your kids, you find at our Hotel Lindenhof in Ramsau am Dachstein  a large playing area all around the house. Our playground with a trampoline  completes the offer for children. Also, we propose set children’s menus for our little guests.
